Library Services
Library Cards
Library cards are issued free of charge to Pittsford and Florence residents and there is a small fee for nonresidents which is $15.00 for an individual library card and $25.00 for a family card. The owners of the cards are responsible for all materials charged out to their card number. It should be reported immediately if the card is lost or stolen.
Admission is free to all library events, programs and meetings. All library materials may be used within the building and most may be borrowed for home use, with exception of reference materials as well as town histories and restricted Vermont history books.
Though there is no annual fee for using the library, we are a public organization and donations are always greatly appreciated!
Loan Periods
Most library materials may be borrowed for three weeks with a few exceptions:
- New Adult Fiction and Non-Fictions are 2 weeks.
- Magazines are 2 weeks.
- Family and Children's videos are 1 week.
- Children's audios are a 1 week loan.
- All material may be renewed with the exception of new adult fiction and nonfiction.
Interlibrary Loan
If you can't locate the book or magazine you are searching for, please ask us about an Interlibrary Loan. Our library is connected with other libraries, both a public and academic, around the state and their collections are available to borrow for our patrons.
